HOW WE MAKE CANDLES - SMALL BATCH ONLY
We hand-pour all of our candles in small-batches at our tiny retail store in Phoenix, Arizona. You will hear a lot about hand-poured candles and why they are better, but small-batch pouring is important, and here is why.
Fragrance is distributed more evenly in the wax when made in small batches, ensuring the customer gets a quality, artisan made candle on every purchase. Mass pouring, even by hand, means there is less control over the end product. We love anything artisan made, and we choose this process because it's the best way to do it.
COCONUT-APRICOT WAX - WHY IT'S THE BEST WAX OUT THERE
As wax is the largest component of a candle, we choose the best possible option available. Coconut-Apricot Wax is the most expensive per pound, but we don't care! The benefits make it well worth the higher cost.
It burns slower than any other wax, so you get a longer lasting burn-time. Scent throw is AMAZING, so no weak-smelling candles here. It is sustainably sourced, and free from toxins and chemicals, so it hits all the feel-good points. It's the only choice in our opinion!
OUR WICKS - LET'S GET TECHNICAL!
Our wicks are from Germany and considered the best wicks on the market. They are lead and zinc free, and constructed of cotton flat braids with paper fibers.
We choose this wick because it burns very differently to other wicks, and combined with our coconut-apricot wax, you will get the longest burn-time available compared to any other candle. This includes soy, paraffin, palm and beeswax. The average burn time for an 8oz candle (paraffin, palm and beeswax blends) is about 30-40 hours. Coconut-Apricot will last up to 40% longer than other waxes, making it a very cost effective option.
For optimal candle burning, please keep your wicks trimmed to 1/4" before every burn. Candle wax has a "memory" so burn the candle to the edge of the jar every time you light it. This eliminates tunneling and will extend the life your candle.

Essential oils smell great! But there is more to just smelling great. Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts, and they have many powerful benefits that include aromatherapy, treating and preventing ailments, and helping us to sleep better (think Lavender). There are so many therapeutic benefits and it's why we love them!
